Day One Recap: Coed Slowpitch European Championship 2024

The first day of the Coed Slowpitch European Championship 2024 began with Belgium defeating Austria 22-10 on Wayne's Field #1, while Serbia secured a narrow victory over Norway, 14-12, on the second field.

Ireland dominated Germany with a decisive 19-1 win. Great Britain shut out the Netherlands 16-0.

Belgium continued their strong performance with an impressive 26-1 victory over Norway. Czechia triumphed over Serbia with a 23-2 win. The Netherlands edged out Austria 14-13.

Great Britain found the second win of the tournament topping the German 17-0. Right after the opening ceremony, the final game of the day saw Czechia secure a high-scoring 41-25 victory over Ireland.

Following the first day, Belgium, Czechia, and Great Britain lead the standings with a perfect record of 2-0. Ireland, the Netherlands, and Serbia are all tied with a 1-1 record. Austria, Germany, and Norway have yet to secure a win.
