Youth Baseball5 European Championship 2024: Updated Schedule and Group Divisions Announced

The Youth Baseball5 European Championship 2024 schedule has been updated following the late withdrawal of Latvia, Estonia, and Israel. The event will now feature 13 teams, divided into two groups, A and B.

The 13 teams taking part in the Youth Baseball5 European Championship 2024 are divided into two groups: Group A comprises France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria, and Moldova; Group B includes Lithuania, Türkiye, Italy, Romania, Finland, Germany, and Poland.

The new schedule can be found here.

The competition begins with an opening round consisting of 36 matches held over three days from October 29 to 31, 2024. Each match is structured as a best-of-three set, with teams required to switch genders between sets 1 and 2, and having the flexibility to choose freely for set 3.

The top three teams from each group after the opening round will advance to the Super Round (Group C), while the remaining teams will compete in the Placement Round (Group D). The second phase will include 21 matches across two days from October 31 to November 2, 2024.

Rankings within each group will determine the teams' progression, with the top four from Group C competing for the medals on November 2.

The two finalists will earn qualification for the Youth World Cup 2025.

The teams have announced their preliminary team rosters (PTRs) for the Youth Baseball5 European Championship 2024, which are available here.
