To prevent a scheduling conflict between the Women's Softball European Cups and the World Games, the WBSC Europe Softball Commission has rescheduled the 2025 Club Events.

The Men's European Super Cup will now take place from August 18th to 23rd, and all Women's Cups have been rescheduled to August 25th to 30th.

This adjustment ensures that Europe’s top women athletes can participate in both the World Games and the European Cups.

This change applies only to the 2025 season.

The updated 2025 calendar is now available here.

The World Games 2025 will be held in Chengdu, China. Softball will be part of the event, starting with the men's competition on August 6, leading up to the gold medal game on August 10. The women's competition will commence on August 13 and conclude on August 17.

A total of eight teams will participate in both the men's and women's softball disciplines. The top six teams from the WBSC/KONAMI Men's and Women's Softball World Rankings as of December 31, 2024, will automatically qualify for The World Games 2025. China, as the host nation, will secure a spot in both competitions, with the final team being awarded a wild card by the WBSC, no later than January 31, 2025.
