U-15 EuroSoftball: Netherlands Triumph Over Spain, Rain Postpones Italy-Czechia Clash

The fourth day of the U-15 Women's Softball European Championship in Prague, Czechia, was filled with seven games, further shaping the path to the championship.

Austria began the day with a strong showing, defeating Belgium 23-12. Germany followed with an impressive 18-2 victory over Great Britain. The match between Poland and Israel was a nail-biter, with Israel edging out Poland 17-16 in a thrilling contest. Poland finished the tournament in 13th place overall.

Ukraine continued their solid performance with a 10-0 win over Croatia. Türkiye displayed their skills with a decisive 13-1 victory over Austria. One of the most critical games of the day saw the Netherlands narrowly defeat Spain 6-5. This victory was crucial for the Netherlands, keeping the Dutch in the run to the gold medal game.

The final game of the day between Italy and Czechia was interrupted by rain in the third inning and will be continued tomorrow at 10:00 on Field 1.

Tomorrow, Türkiye will then face Israel at 11:30, followed by Germany against Croatia at 12:00. Belgium will compete against Austria at 14:00, and Ukraine will match up against Great Britain at 14:30. Spain will play Italy at 17:00, while the Netherlands will take on Czechia at 19:30.
