Stockholm Baseball finishes in 1st Place in Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier 2024 in Sweden

Stockholm Baseball won all four games this week to finish in first place of the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier to earn a Swedish spot in next year’s Federation Cup.

After a close encounter in the opener on Tuesday, where Stockholm won a nailbiter 5-4 over the London Capitals, Stockholm cruised through the rest of the week with victories over Tampere Tigers (17-2), Kutno (13-5) and Kaunas County (13-7).

Leo Quaglia from Stockholm led the tournament with eight RBI. Soren Henrik Hanson and Linus Holmberg scored the most runs with nine each. Hanson also picked up two wins on the mound and led all pitchers with 22 strikeouts.

Kutno finished in second place in the final standings ahead of London Capitals, Kaunas County and Tampere Tigers.
