Germany wins U-12 Baseball European Championship 2024

Germany has won the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2024. They defeated the Netherlands 5-0 in the Gold Medal Game on Saturday evening in Paderborn, Germany. Its the fourth title for Germany in that age category after 2016, 2022 and 2023. Both teams qualified for the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 by reaching the final. Earlier in the day Czechia shut out Italy in the game for third place. In the relegation round France and Ukraine celebrated wins on Saturday, as France finished fifth, Austria sixth, Ukraine seventh and Lithuania in eighth place.

Germany, Netherlands reach Gold Medal Game at U-12 Baseball European Championship 2024

Germany and the Netherlands will play in the final of the U-12 Baseball European Championship in Paderborn, Germany. By reaching the Gold Medal Game both teams also qualified for the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup in 2025. The Netherlands defeated Czechia 3-0 in the semi-final in the afternoon. In the second semi-final on Friday evening Germany had a brilliant start into their match, shutting out Italy 10-0. The Gold Medal Game will take place on Saturday at 18:00. In the relegation round Austria beat Ukraine 12-2 and France Lithuania 15-0.

Germany, Netherlands win First-Round Groups at U-12 Baseball Euros

Germany and the Netherlands have closed out the first round of the U-12 Baseball European Championship in Paderborn, Germany by winning their respective preliminary round groups. The Netherlands defeated Italy 5-1 to win Group B. Germany prevailed 5-4 in a thriller over Czechia in to claim first place in Group A. Italy and Czechia will join the Netherlands and Germany in the semi-finals on Friday. Meanwhile Austria picked up their first win in the tournament with a 17-3 victory over Lithuania, while France shut out Ukraine 13-0 for their first victory.

U-12 Baseball Euros: Czechia, Germany, Italy and Netherlands through to Semi-Finals in Paderborn

The favorites have reached the semi-finals at the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2024 in Paderborn, Germany after two of the three first-round game days. On Wednesday the Netherlands beat Austria 12-2. Czechia defeated Ukraine 21-0, while Italy won with the same result against Lithuania. In the evening game Germany prevailed 5-2 over France.

Favorites kick off U-12 Baseball European Championship 2024 with commanding wins

Defending champion Germany started off its campaign on home soil in Paderborn with a 16-3 victory over Ukraine on Tuesday evening. Czechia got things going with a 14-4 victory over France in the morning. In the afternoon the Netherlands celebrated a 26-0 shutout over Lithuania. Italy downed Austria 15-0.

For the first time in the history a U-12 Baseball European Championship will be held in Germany, when the Ahorn-Ballpark in Paderborn is hosting the top eight teams in that age category to compete for the Gold Medal from July 2 to 6, 2024.

Germany wins U-12 European Baseball Championship 2022 after dramatic Walk-Off-Win in Extra-Innings over Czechia

Germany has won the U-12 European Baseball Championship 2022 in Vienna, Austria. On Saturday evening they defeated Czechia 10-9 after nine dramatic innings. The tying and winning runs were scored on a walk-off double by Felipe Morales Weggemann with two outs in the bottom of the third extra inning. For Germany its their second juveniles title after 2016. Germany and Czechia have qualified for the WBSC U12 Baseball World Cup in 2023.

The Czech Republic and Germany will face off in the final of the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2022 in Vienna, Austria. Czechia and Italy claimed their group crowns by reaching the semifinals undefeated. They will face off with the Netherlands and Germany on Friday to determine the finalists for Saturday. Austria, France, Hungary and Lithuania will compete in the placement round.
