During Easter holidays, the Navarra Baseball and Softball Federation organized the 6th edition of the Baseball Schools Tournament, in which more than 500 boys and girls enjoy playing baseball in a fantastic baseball event.

Major League Baseball will host in Tirrenia (Italy) from August 1st through August 17th the 8th edition of their Camp for european prospects. It’s the same Camp where the course to the Big Leagues was set in the Summer of 2005 for Alex Liddi.

The “Haarlemse Honkbalweek” will be held from July 13 to 22, 2012 at Pim Mulier Stadium in Haarlem, Netherlands.

(LONDON, ENGLAND) (MARCH 6, 2012) – BaseballSoftballUK (BSUK), the development agency for baseball and softball in the United Kingdom, announced today that it has recently been awarded a grant of $160,000 (£100,000) from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF), administered by Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players’ Association. The grant, along with funding from Sport England, will allow BSUK to complete the first phase of its development plans at Farnham Park, Buckinghamshire to construct two dedicated 300′-sized fields for baseball/softball and one 400′ baseball field.

VIENNA/ATTNANG-PUCHHEIM, AUSTRIA (March 6, 2012) – The Austrian Baseball Federation announced today that it was recently awarded a grant in the amount of $104,465.75 from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund (BTF). The grant will support the erection of a new youth baseball field at the USD Athletics Ballpark in Attnang-Puchheim, which serves as one of the premium quality academies in Austria.
