Men’s Softball Europe Cup: Day 4 Brings Surprising Twists

Day 4 of the Men’s Softball Europe Cup 2024 saw 10 games take place.

The day began with Hoboken Pioneers (BEL) achieving a 9-2 victory over Czechia U23. Vennep Flyers (NED) overcame MRKI Medvedi (CRO) 5-3, while DVH (NED) dominated Sweden Royals (SWE) with an 18-1 win. Span (CRO) secured a 5-2 win against London Meteors (GBR).

In the afternoon, Hoboken Pioneers (BEL) narrowly defeated Team Misgav (ISR) 2-1. Magos Tenerife (ESP) performed strongly against Vennep Flyers (NED), winning 13-3. DVH (NED) continued their winning form with a 3-2 victory over Gladsaxe Softball (DEN). Span (CRO) finished the day with a 10-5 win over Stags (GBR).

The final games of the day saw Team Misgav (ISR) defeating Sweden Royals (SWE) 5-1.

The game between Vennep Flyers (NED) ended the day with a high-scoring 14-8 victory over London Meteors (GBR) but was later protested and will be resumed from the top of the fifth inning tomorrow morning at 8:45 on field 3 (Eagles 2).
