Australia, China, Puerto Rico, Netherlands, and Czechia to Compete in Italy

The 2024 edition of the softball tournament "Coppa Majer" promises to be a pre-world championship event, showcasing some of the top teams worldwide. This tournament offers teams the opportunity to prepare for the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup while adapting to the new time zone.

The national teams of Australia, China, Puerto Rico, and the Netherlands have accepted the invitation to participate. They will be joined by Czechia, preparing to the Women's Softball European Championship 2024.

The games will be held in the Milan area, in Caronno Pertusella and Bollate. The tournament is dedicated to the Majer family, founders of Rhea Vendors, a historic sponsor of Caronno Softball.

The tournament kicks off on Tuesday, July 9, at 19:00 with a game between China and the Netherlands. The competition will run from July 10 to 12, officially opening on Wednesday, July 10, at 20:00. Sanctioned by the WBSC, the tournament awards points towards the WBSC world ranking.
