The Women’s Softball European Premier Cup 2024, the pinnacle of European club competition, is set to take place from August 19 to August 24, 2024.

Hosted in the venues of Buttrio and Castions di Strada, home of the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup previously this year, the Women’s Softball European Premier Cup will feature the ten top European clubs, divided into two groups.

Group A includes the Beveren Lions (BEL), Olympia Haarlem (NED), Rivas Madrid (ESP), Wesseling Vermins (GER), and Wittenbach Panthers (SUI).

Group B features Italposa Forlì (ITA), Joudrs Praha (CZE), The Mix (GBR), Vienna Metrostars (AUT), and Neptunus (NED).

The tournament will begin on Monday, August 19, with the opening game in Group A between Wittenbach Panthers and Beveren Lions at 9:30 in Castions di Strada. Group B’s first match will see Italposa Forlì face off against Joudrs Praha at 10:30 in Buttrio.

The competition format includes a full double round-robin phase, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the next stage, carrying forward their results. These six teams will compete in a further round-robin to determine the finalists, who will vie for the title on Saturday, August 24, at 16:00. The bronze medal game is scheduled earlier that day at 13:00.

The complete schedule can be found on the WBSC Europe website.

Olympia Haarlem (NED), the reigning champions, will be defending their title, having won the last two editions in Bollate (ITA) in 2022 and Saronno (ITA) in 2023.
