Day 2 Recap: Women’s Softball European Premier Cup 2024

Day 2 of the Women’s Softball European Premier Cup 2024 brought to life eight games as teams battled it out in Buttrio and Castions di Strada. After two days, Olympia Haarlem (NED) and Softball Forlì (ITA) lead the two groups.

The day started with Wesseling Vermins (GER) securing a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Wittenbach Panthers (SUI) in Group A, while Olympia Haarlem (NED) continued their dominant run with an overwhelming 18-0 win against Beveren Lions (BEL).

In Group B, Softball Forlì (ITA) defeated Joudrs Praha (CZE) 6-0. Neptunus (NED) faced Vienna Metrostars (AUT) in a tightly contested match but ultimately fell 4-2.

Olympia Haarlem (NED) continued their winning streak in the afternoon, shutting out Rivas Madrid (ESP) 8-0. Meanwhile, Wesseling Vermins (GER) added another win to their tally, defeating Beveren Lions (BEL) 7-2.

Vienna Metrostars (AUT) suffered a 5-1 loss to Softball Forlì (ITA). The final game of the day saw Joudrs Praha (CZE) narrowly defeat The Mix (GBR) 6-5.
