Baseball European Cup 2024 starts on Tuesday in Valencia

The Baseball European Cup, the second tier below the Baseball European Champions Cup, is commencing its 2024 tournament on Tuesday at the ballpark of the Astros Valencia. Group A consists of Astros Valencia (ESP), Deurne Spartans (BEL), Montpellier Barracudas (FRA) and Vienna Metrostars (AUT), group B of Olimpija Karlovac (CRO), Diving Ducks Wiener Neustadt (AUT), Tenerife Marlins (ESP) and Les Cougars Montigny (FRA).

During the preliminary round robin three games are scheduled each day at 9.30, 13:00 and 17:00. The first round will be played from Tuesday to Friday. The top two teams from each pool advance to the semi-finals on Saturday. The final is scheduled for Sunday at 17:00.

All games will be broadcasted live through Baseballeurope.tv, while live play by play is available through the WBSC Europe website. The full tournament pass for the livestreaming is going to be €24.99, while single game access is €6.99.
